Yoga is fantastic for relieving stress & anxiety, offering us a moment to be still and look inward.... a moment to turn off all the chatter of the world. Yoga is amazing for relieving aches and pains, stiffness and improving arthritis (and tension the body holds onto...aka stress). Yoga helps to keep up range of motion and improve it. It helps you to gain balance, lose weight and build muscle. Yoga is much more than just an exercise. It’s an exercise for the body but, also for the soul. In yoga we leave our egos, worries and stresses behind as we flow from pose to pose - being fully in the moment, moving with ease, listening to our bodies and breathing in deeply renewing our cells and letting go. About Yoga Time with Carrie
Yoga Time with Carrie was started by Carrie with the intention of sharing the beautiful gift of yoga with the community. Carrie started doing yoga in college and became hooked after the birth of her 1st child. Yoga is a huge part of Carrie's life and she has a strong desire to share it with the community. Yoga is so beneficial for the body as well as the mind. Of course yoga is an amazing workout and builds endurance, muscle, balance and core etc. but, it also helps one to find happiness inward rather than outward. It helps one to fully immerse themselves in the moment to see what each moment truly offers. As you practice yoga more and more you will begin to use aspects of yoga in all other aspects of life. Yoga helps with anger, depression and focus. Yoga helps with aches and pains. Yoga helps us all to let go....to surrender. Yoga assists us in self exploration, discovery and acceptance.
Carrie has 3 little munchkins that she homeschools. Her children love dance & yoga! In her free time she loves to spend time with her husband of 19 years, do yoga, bicycle, read, spend time outdoors...especially at the beach, hiking in green surroundings and researching natural health.
Carrie is certified through Yoga Alliance. Carrie has been teaching at Fitness 19 Menifee since its opening in 2012 and she also teaches at South Coast Winery Spa, the Marion Ashley Community Center and many other places. Carrie is happy to help spread love and light!
